Landlords and whilst we hope your enquiry is not the result of displeasure
with the performance of your existing agent (we are all fallible)
we are not averse to getting our hands dirty when such relationships
founder.
We currently act for clients from all walks of life.
Pensioners, Merchant Banks, young go-getters, Company Directors
all of whom entrust us with the management of their most significant
investments.
Should you be considering the placement of a large
portfolio with us we will be happy to consider employing a dedicated
member of staff to deal solely with your business. We have recently
upgraded our management software which will allow us to handle a
significantly larger number of properties in an efficient manner.
Many Landlords retain their own trusted tradesmen
and we are happy to refer all repair and renovation work to them
so long as they are suitably qualified to deal with Gas (C.O.R.G.I
or A.C.O.P.S registered) and Electrical (N.I.C E.I.C and E.C.A)
installations.
Where Landlords do not retain their own tradesmen
we sub-contract works to qualified, independent tradesmen. We refuse
to run our own team of odd-job men as we are aware that some agents
are in the habit of 'inventing' repair works during quiet weeks
just to pay the wages. We refuse to be associated with such practices
and, from your point of view, if something goes wrong with a repair
which has been carried out it is nice to be able to insist upon
a significant degree of accountability. We are able to do this simply
due to the volume of work that we sub-contract on a yearly basis.
All our fees are negotiable but we will not be battered

management or a letting only service and very soon, even if you
do not require our full management service, you will be able to
register with our partner site
enabling you to offer your tenants the option of paying their rent
with a credit or debit card over the internet.
We also run a '' bulletin board where we invite prospective tenants to
submit their requirements. If you have a vacancy that matches any
of the requirements posted on the site you can contact us with a
view to our placing the applicant with you.
Once you come on board with us we will probably
be able to assist you in the reduction of your other fixed costs
(such as buildings, landlord's contents and rent protection insurance)
and, as a result of our broad experience, we can also offer informal
advice on tax planning and business expansion. We have good relationships
with commercial finance houses and brokers and if there is a service
we cannot offer we usually know someone who can.
In short we try, and usually succeed, to act in a
pragmatic, realistic fashion in all our business dealings. By identifying
and dealing with potential problems early in the process a great
deal of time, effort and, more importantly, money can be saved.
